The South East Texas Regional Planning Commission (SETRPC) has been designated as the lead agency to administer Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Texas General Land Office (GLO) for recovery from damages sustained as a result of Hurricanes Ike and Dolly.  Areas to be addressed are housing, public infrastructure and economic development.

In order to allocate funding for allowable activities, the SETRPC was required to develop a Method of Distribution for Round 2.2.  This document was submitted to the GLO for approval.

Infrastructure
The SETRPC was responsible for making recommendations for funding allocations to local jurisdictions for public infrastructure projects.  Once allocations were finalized, the GLO contracted with each individual community for specific projects.

Housing
The SETRPC directly manages funds provided to the Region for housing rehabilitation and reconstruction for Round 2.2.  Funding will be utilized for single family owned properties, single family rental properties and multi-family properties.

Below are documents submitted and approved by the GLO related to the SETRPC?s Round 2.2 Disaster Recovery Housing Program:
