South East Texas Coalition for the Homeless Program (SETCH)
SETCH ‘s 3 priorities are to facilitate collaboration between organizations, collect and disseminate data on the prevalence of local homelessness, and to advocate for services and innovative responses that prevent or reduce homelessness in Southeast Texas.
SETCH conducts the annual Point in Time (PIT) Homeless Count as mandated by HUD. Data captured will be reported to the Texas Homeless Network (THN) for local and national advocacy efforts, research, and coordination of programs and funding.
SETCH will continue to conduct HUD-mandated monthly meetings to collaborate with community partners, assist with grant applications, and strategically plan to prevent and end homelessness.
The Coalition meets monthly. Please contact us to be included in our email distribution list if you are interested in attending.
