Homeland Security Grant Funding Mandatory Workshop
SETRPC will be hosting a mandatory Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) Grant Application Workshops with two opportunities to attend. This is open to any agency planning on applying for the:
State Homeland Security Program – LETPA Projects (SHSP-L), Federal Fiscal Year 2026;
State Homeland Security Program – Regular Projects (SHSP-R), Federal Fiscal Year 2026
Due to the quick timeline from the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Homeland Security Grant Division, the Grant Application Workshops will be held in conjunction with the FY2026 Emergency Management Planning Advisory Committee (EMPAC) Pre-Prioritization Meeting.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 1:30pm. The meeting will be held at the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission located at 2210 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, Texas.
HSGP Grant Application Workshops are MANDATORY for any applicant who plans to apply to any of the Request for Applications listed above.
