Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
The South East Texas Regional Planning Commission is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste and Scrap Tire Collection Event, Saturday, May 17, 2025 in the parking lot of the Bridge City Intermediate School at 1029 Round Bunch Road in Bridge City, Texas.
During this free event, the SETRPC is collecting items that could cause damage to your health or the environment if they are disposed of improperly. Some of the items include paints, cleaners, antifreeze, car batteries, used oil, insecticides, swimming pool chemicals, and many others. A cash disposal fee of $3.00 is required for each tire (limit 20). Tires over 20” or on rims will not be accepted. SETRPC will limit the amount of paint collected to ten (10) 1-gallon paint cans and two (2) 5-gallon paint cans.
This event will be publicized through news releases, flyers, and newspaper advertisements in the Beaumont Enterprise and other area newspapers. Television commercials will also be broadcast.
The Household Hazardous Waste and Scrap Tire Collection Event is a program of the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
