Emergencies are part of life – they happen every day. SETRPC provides 9-1-1 public education throughout the Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson and Orange regions. Our team is dedicated to the development and sharing of 9-1-1 educational programs and resources, which are vital to our 9-1-1 public education effort. The staff participate in numerous local health and safety fairs as well as other family friendly community events to spread the word about 9-1-1. Educational materials are designed, developed and distributed to the general public through this program. In Southeast Texas school and pre-school settings Cell Phone Sally, our national mascot for 9-1-1 is used extensively to better prepare children to make the call for help in an emergency. A fun and educational Cell Phone Sally and her friends DVD which teaches children life-saving 9-1-1 skills for getting help in an emergency is available by contacting Lori at (409) 899-8444 x 6100.

The 9-1-1 Emergency Network utilizes billboards to promote awareness, provide information and education throughout Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson and Orange Counties.
