The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission-Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (SETRPC-MPO) short-range transportation plan for the Jasper-Jefferson-Orange-Hardin Regional Transportation Study (JJOHRTS) area. The TIP presents the various highway and transit projects that are expected to be let for construction or implementation within the next four years. All regional transportation projects and programs are required to be identified and prioritized in the TIP in order to be eligible for Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds.
